Much to do About Nothing...

When I first created this blog it was named Mingz Natural Hair Journey…

And it was a place for me to post ideas, which I seen and later could come back to them and attempt

Many of these ideas, from natural hair to DIY projects, and some other things I found interesting.

Well, I've decided to get back to blogging and this time to do it on a regular. ~rolls eyes~

We shall see.

 And who, this blog will be much to do about nothing…and there will be plenty of those.

Hell it’s my blog and I can do what I want right??

Damn right.

Well with that in mind here are some warnings:

I have a crude sense of humor. I am sarcastic, I have curse jar and I use it often, I believe in conspiracies and I have two imaginary friends…

I enjoy my weirdness; I've seen normal people and they are NUTS! 

Well to wrap this up, this blog will be, as eclectic (like how I got that in there) as the world is.

An elderly man in Louisiana had owned a large farm for several years.

He had a large pond in the back. It was properly shaped for swimming, so he fixed

it up nice with picnic tables, horseshoe courts, and some apple and peach trees.

One evening the old farmer decided to go down to the pond, as he hadn't been there for a while, and look it over.

He grabbed a five-gallon bucket to bring back some fruit.

As he neared the pond, he heard voices shouting and laughing with glee.

As he came closer, he saw it was a bunch of young women skinny-dipping in his pond.

He made the women aware of his presence and they all went to the deep end.

One of the women shouted to him, 'we're not coming out until you leave!'

The old man frowned, 'I didn't come down here to watch you ladies swim naked or make you get out of the pond naked.'

Holding the bucket up he said,

'I'm here to feed the alligator...'

~I Love Being Natural~(Old Post/Repost)

Good evening, at the moment I am watching Cities of the Underworld on History International. I am always on the History Channel.

As I sit her I came across some pictures of my B.C (big chop) and I am amazed how much my hair has grown and how healthy it is. Something else I notice since I have been natural is that I actually play in my hair. I never played in my hair when I relaxed it. 

Matter of fact as soon as I relaxed my hair;I would weave it up or Kinky twist it. Which defeats the purpose of relaxing it in the first place. I will never understand why I would relax my hair just to cover it with weave and extensions. At any rate, I just wanted to share some pictures of my progression. 

I love being natural!

Well this was me April 17th 2009. The Big Chop. I was so excited when I made the decision to cut it all off.  During this time there were so many life changing experience so cutting it all off was just part of the plan.

I was really diggin' my curls.

Good Day everyone, just wanted to share some of my hair pictures. Its hot and humid down south and for me that means SHRINKAGE!

So since the weather has gotten hotter and the humidity is off-the-roof. 

Its time for a more cool (er) hair style.

Plaits or Braids depending on what part of the country you are from.

For some naturals this is no big deal;however for me, I am not known for leaving a hair style in for longer than a couple of days. 

I applaud females that can leave a style in for longer than a week, let alone 3 or more weeks. 

So my goal is to leave them in until the end of the week. 

Thats the best I can do. :)
